22,000+ comic book lot collection: 1890-2023+and hundreds of additional odds and ends+ boxes of rare and vintage books
OVER A DOZEN comic art portfolios by: Jeff Jones, Bernie Wrightson, Michael Kaluta, and others, 25 pieces of comic book art, 250 non-comic book artworks by listed artists + a 24-foot Polaris trailer to carry it all away in. I am still looking for a nice Heavy Duty truck to throw in for the driver to use to drive away with as well, but no truck yet! Once I get that, I can just meet the driver at the airport and away they go...I call this the: Go Big AND Go Home collection.I love the 1960s and 1970's FIRST appearances... and monsters, all the monsters! Swamp Thing, Man-Thing, HTD, House of Mystery, Doom Patrol, hundreds of each of those titles, so many sets! Seeing is believing. Comics from the 1890s to NOW. Unpicked collection. One money. This ad is going to be aimed at only about 1% of the collectors out there. I will keep posting updates and a list until someone purchases it. 75+ long boxes - mostly Silver, Bronze, and Copper. I tossed a few pictures up. More than 3 six foot high 4x4 pallets so far. Here is the start of the list:Update - now up to EIGHTY long and short boxes of comics plus MANY stand-alone hardcovers, art retrospectives, etc. During the 1970s and 1980s - I went VERY heavy into horror, dinosaurs, zombies, and shambling monstrosities, so there are thousands of books from Swamp Thing, Man-Thing, Aliens, Deadworld, Star Spangled War – dinosaur issues. It should be fun to see both the new Alien (multiple copies of all the early books) movie coming out this year as well as the Crow reboot (1st comic ad on the back of Deadworld #10 – multiple copies of that.) Also, certain Kirby titles always appealed to me such as Kamandi, early westerns, Demon, and complete sets of The Eternals, along with duplication on keys #1, #3, etc. In separate totes, I also have 50+ Heritage sale house catalogs, some Sotheby’s, etc. There are also multiple boxes of obscure magazines – 1950s and 1960’s sci-fi pulps, Mad Magazines, Famous Monsters of Filmland, Creepy and Eerie hardcovers. And additional hardcover books, especially THE STUDIO artists. Bernie Wrightson prints and portfolios, Barry Windsor-Smith, Michael Kaluta, and Jeffrey Jones. There is large amount of Frank Frazetta material. I used to live down the street from Frank Frazetta 20 years ago, in East Stroudsburg, PA. SO I have numerous paperbacks with Frazetta cover art, plus his Fantastic Art series, Plus others.
