PRICE REDUCED BY $1200. TO ONLY $4700! (from my original asking price of $5900.) ANTIQUE CHICAGO ELECTRIC COIN OPERATED SELF PLAYING NICKELODEON PLAYER PIANO WITH WOOD XYLOPHONE. LIKE ONE OF THE FIRST JUKEBOXES, BEFORE THEY PLAYED RECORDS, THEY PLAYED A PIANO LIVE! This Machine looks to have had a "Ground Up" Restoration/ Rebuild, including being Re-strung, New Hammers, Rebuilt Pneumatics, Tubing, Etc. It uses a 10 - Tune "A" Roll and comes with 5 of those. The Piano Plays Very Strong! The Xylophone seems to need some adjustments. There is some kind of adjustment down below that does seem to increase or decrease how strong that plays. It will need to be tuned once moved and is a bit out of tune now (I don't know how to tune a piano). It's a BEAUTIFUL MACHINE! The Cabinet is Oak and measures 45" wide x 26" deep x 64" tall. This is a very heavy machine (maybe 750# if I had to guess). It is at about ground level in our house except for 1 step in the front of the house. If you buy it, you will have to come and pick it up or send some movers to do that. I'm not strong enough anymore to pick up even one end of it, but could assist with pushing it, since it does have wheels. The coin mechanism is there, but when you drop a coin it, it doesn't always trip the start coil. From what I could read about The Chicago Electric Nickelodeons, not many of them were made, so they are quite rare today.
