DC Comics Vintage SUPERMAN “S” Symbol 1940s-60s Steel Symbol OHIO Found HOLY GRAIL!

This Vintage Superman Symbol was found underground in the fields of Ohio in 2013. It weighs 10.5 ounces and is made of Steel! Since being unearthed, it has been the ONLY Vintage Superman Symbol to have ever been found, of its kind!

UPDATE: December 9th 2022 I received a statement from Jerry Stephan of Heritage sales on the piece after asking for more help identifying and dating it. Here is what he said…

“I’ve been collecting comics since 1965 and can’t say I’ve seen anything like this. It might be one-of-a-kind. However, I think the symbol is from the late 60’s or later. To be honest, I have no idea where it comes from.” -Jerry Stephan
