Outstanding work of art for this one of a kind very large dresser/jewelry Antique trinket box Hand painted made in France signed Brummel with the marking FBS for Ferdinand Bing and Co Successors.Antique from the 19th Century.Hand painted by the artist Brummel!The porcelain enameled used is likely to be Sevres since Brummel was mainly working on that type of porcelain back then.
Peonies flowers are predominant with lots of yellow and turquoise blue enhanced by brass hinges and brace.
Very old and precious the painting enameled is in perfect condition and truly an exceptional detailed and true to French artistic master piece! Please note that the brass is slightly separated from the porcelain by the back hinges.Absolutely no chips or cracks of any kind!The colors are reflecting the Victorian time and possibly from the late 1800's.Would be perfect on top of a dresser, a night stand or a focal point on a mantle!Good luck and thank you for watching.
