Superb condition for a jacket that is more than 75 years old. VEry wearable. striking double-breasted style and excellent unusual details.history shows that these kind of flight jackets were worn from 1935 until end of the war. This flight jacket was worn on missions - fantastic piece of world War two history.
All the original pebbled Assman aluminum buttons are in place. There are leather loops on the chest and shoulders to pin bars or medals. All four ball-chain zipper pulls are present and work perfectly. Adjustable chin-strap and reinforced elbows, zippered sleeves, back belt. Outstanding craftsmanship and top quality design is evident throughout this jacket. The lining is original and in outstanding condition.
You\'ll have a hard time finding another like this and in such wonderful condition.

- Chest taken under arms - 40inches.
- Shoulders - measured across the back from shoulder seam to seam - 16 inches.
- Sleeve from shoulder seamtosleeve cuff - 23 inches.
- Sleeve from bottom of collar seam at side of neck tosleeve cuff - 28.5 inches.
- Length taken from top to bottom ofcoat 21 in.
- Bottomedge measured all the way around - 34 is excellent inside and out. No holes, tears or significant wear. All zippers function smoothly.
