Up for sale is a $50.00 (T-66) CSA note dated Feb. 17th 1864. These are large notes in comparison to other CSA notes of this time period. This piece of currency is very popular due to the center pictures of Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederacy.
This condition of this note is typical for a circulated price of currency that is over 150 years old. It does have folds, some pinholes, age stains,& small tears but this note is intact and very collectible.
The Serial no. is low, 3168, (These were put on mechanically to curb counterfeiting), the Plate letter is Y/A and the Series is 4 which in my experience you don\'t see very much.
