Double Marked - LOW Dome - Large Logo - LID *** pattern No. 469 B*** Has both the 1920 and 1925 patent dates.

Ready to GO!!! No old good build-up or old cooking grease on this one. This piece of Cast Iron has been Expertly cleaned, and mineral oil applied. Mineral oil is for display only, since it does not turn sour or rancid. If purchasing for daily use, you will need to WASH with hot water and a mild soap, DRY very well, and APPLY the cooking oil of your choice. Most people use canola oil or peanut oil. The mineral oil helps to lift old carbon from the surface of the cast iron, so if you just wipe with a paper towel you may see some of this dark carbon in the clear mineral oil.
