Here is a great old time only fusee clock from England - another long term resident in my personal collection. This is a large clock that can stand on a table or shelf as in the pictures, or can hang on a wall. There are hanging brackets on each side of the clock near the top to support the considerable weight safely. When I got the clock I was told it was retired from the London Tube system. I believe it as I have never seen such a dirty clock....but it turned out to be in almost perfect condition after CAREFUL cleaning. The movement has recently been serviced and works reliably and keeps good time. The old original dial was suffering from considerable paint flaking, so I had it restored by The Dial House. They did their usual beautiful job, and the dial is just gorgeous. The whole clock is.......Dimensions are 26\" high, 18 1/2\" wide, and 9\" deep. Shown in one of the pictures is a Howard 70 for a size reference. There is a piece of the back board that is missing as shown in another picture.. Wood is rich and beautiful and it wears its original finish. The patina is elegant. You will not be disappointed.
