For yourconsideration we are offering this lovely antique or vintage Nippon RoyalCrockery (RC) Noritake porcelain bowl. The long narrow bowl has double handles.Each handle sweeps up at the two ends into a graceful curve. The bowl is handpainted with a gold moriage design with deep burgundy areas and pink/burgundyroses. The design is very detailed with delicate swirls, curves and dots. Thedesign has a Victorian style to it. The sides of the bowl have a single rose withleaves on it. The outside bottom has anarrow band of gold along the bottom edge. The handles and edge is trimmed withgold. This dish is a recent find from a local estate sale. I do not know theage of this bowl. The bowl is an antique or approaching the 100 year mark based on the use of Nipponon the mark. The mark is the green RC, Noritake, hand painted, Nippon mark.This bowl has wonderful decorative shaped edge. The bowl is in good condition.The bowl is free of chips, cracks and breaks. The handles, edge, and bottomband has fading on the gold design from age and use. The inside design is stilllovely and in good condition. The bowl is a narrow long bowl. I am not sure ifthis is a celery serving bowl, because it is not as long as most celery bowl.The bowl measures approximately 10\" long to the ends of the handles. Thebowl measures approximately 4\" wide from back to front. The bowl measuresapproximately 2 & 3/8\" high at the highest area on the handles. Thisbeauty will make a fine addition to your collection.
