I bought this B. SvobodaGerman Original Bowie Knife about 10+ years ago, and never used, carried, or sharpened it, but there are scratches on the carbon steelblade, indicating it has been sharpened by one, or more of it\'s previous owners. Theblade & handle have no rust, pitting or other marks of age on this fine example of German Craftsmanship. 13 inches overall, with an 8 inch blade, real stag handles, and leather sheath. I\'m not sure of the exact age of this knife, but an educated guess, from a lifetime of knife collecting, & I estimate it to be around 50+ years old(about as old as me).
