The drawing was created by Tom Shannon who worked directly for David Goetz, the Art Director, as a key layout/workbook artist. The drawing comes the recent estate sale of Tom Shannon.Tom Shannon worked at Disney for over 20 years as a layout artist in story development and normally developed story details including the design of details in characters and backgrounds before the final script was approved and animation began. He worked on many Disney films includingAladdin, Atlantis:The Lost Empire, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King, andMulan.
