You are looking at a vintage Lehigh Valley Rail Road steelchisel. The chisel is also marked PY - almost looks like P4.I assume this meansPennsylvania. The chisel is 12 inches long and approximately 1 inch in diameter. The weight with out packing is almost 2 pounds. Thechiseldoes show signs of age as could be expected but is solid.
