M105A2 US Surplus Military 1.5 Ton Trailer with Canvass!!!You are offerding on a very nice M105A2 US Military Trailer. I purchased this trailer from a Government sale and have the bill of sale to go with it. This trailer is equipped with a canopy frame, w/bow & tarp on trailer, and a fold down rear gate. This trailer has a lunette ring for coupling to pintle hook. You do NOT need air brakes to pull this trailer. This trailer has double hand parking brakes for each wheel and was built VERY heavy to haul a LOT of weight in excess of 2 tons! The trailer is equipped with independent manual brakes and air brakes. Trailer and tarp are in great condition! The trailer is rated at 1.5 Ton cross country or highway. The total weight of the trailer is 2760 lbs. GVW is 5750 lbs. I pulled the trailer from Delaware to Maryland and was amazed on how well it pulled behind my Dodge Dakota! As you can see from the picture listed, this easily hooks up to a small SUV. The trailer attached to the white AUDI was the exact trailer that I have listed, that a customer picked up from me. My customer towed it 55 miles back to Pennsylvania with NO problems1 The sticker on the trailer shows that the Military paid $8524.00 when this was purchased brand new. The delivery date on the trailer reads 1987. The tires are in EXCELLENT shape and the tread on it appears to be over 95%. The Unit would be great for a Military Museum, camping/desert vehicle, farming, hunting and perfect for hauling heavy loads. Body has some minor surface rusts, and scratches as shown in the pictures. This also has a 24 volt system. When I towed it from Delaware I used the magnetic towing lights that I purchased from Harbor Freight and Tools for $15.00. Upon purchase I will give you the paid invoice which shows the purchase from the Government and I will also write out a bill of sale.
