Original US M1915 Springfield Armory manufactured Bayonet dated 1918.
The bayonet comes with the M1910 wood/rawhide scabbard but does not have the cloth cover/belt attachment.
The stitching on the rawhide has separateda bunch as pictured but it appears to be stable. With the exception of the stitching, the rest of the scabbardis in good solid shape.
The bayonet itself is in good shape as well with no real issues.
The grips show their age and use with a few dings here and there but nothingsignificant.
The blade still retains a good amount of blueing but does show its age and use as well.
The tip is good but possibly a tad rounded. I included a closeup for you to see.
The edge is factory and has NOT been resharpened.
There is an extremelysmall mark/burr on the blade edge which I have added a picture of as well. It is not really noticeable but under close examination, you will see it and I wanted to be honest. Without that mark, the blade edge is flawless.
