Please note:I can forward more area specific photos of this itemvia email; at your request. I couldn\'t post any close up photos of the various areas because requires the orange plugto show in all photos... My apologies.

Here, for your consideration; I offer a thispairing of two very popular western toy items from the 1940 era.

Included in this pairing is a Kilgore American with a dummy hammer. The American opens smoothly and latches back smooth and locks good using the trigger guard and itfits snug between barrel and frame. Trigger and hammer work as they should. Cylinder advance lever raises up smoothly, but doesn\'t come forward. I think this is due to a broken spring or the spring has came loose. Either way; this is an easy repair. The only other pressing issue I can mention is the right grip has a crack repair and the grips are a little loose now because I took them off once when I thought about replacing them with reproduction grips, but then decided to wait and think about it.

You will also receive a beautiful large size Keyston Brother\'s white leather holster; highlighted in red, withfringe, a large shimmering red jewel, nickel plated studs and a row of bullet loops filled with red wooden pretend bullets. As mentioned above; this Keyston holster was made in the 1940s; prior to their practice of using rivets stamped with therunning buffalo logo. To my knowledge; they started using the running buffalo logo in the 1950s. Never the less, you will note in photo #3;their logo boldly stampedin the leather on the back side of the belt\'s tongue. This is one of three 1940 era Keyston holsters I own. All have the logo stamped in the leather, like this. Holsters of this vintage were made large; to accommodate a variety of cap guns, from thelarge frame models to the medium and smaller frame models. Later vintage large frame cap guns; like the Hubley Colt .38, Nichols .45 and Mattel Shootin Shell .45 all fit nicely in this size holster.

That\'s about it as far I can think to tell potential buyers. If I have forgotten to mention anything, it is not intentional. This is a very nice marriage or pairing of two highly collectible 1940 era western play toys. It won\'t bother me if they don\'t sell. My start price reflects this.

The holster is super. Its subtle and pliable, not dried out, stiffor cracked. I did put a fresh coat of white leather die on it, because it had became dingy and yellowed over the years. We all know what pricesKilgore Americans with regular hammerssell for. I have seen a Big Horn dummy on here before, but I can\'t recall ever seeing an American, with dummy hammer offered for offers.Don\'t miss out.

Regarding the cylinder advance lever. It pivots forward freely when using a finger. For this reason I feel the spring has come loose or has broke.
