This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit by Sharon Perry. It comes with the wool cut in #8 (1/4\") strips, a color photo of the finished piece, pattern drawn on a lovely cotton monks cloth, easy to follow rug hooking instructions, and binding to finish it off once you have it hooked. The only other items you will need are a rug hook and a frame to put your piece in. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. I think you need to determine whether you like a hobby before spending a ton of money on it. As for the hook, I have them listed for 11.95. This kit when completed measures 13 X 14 inches and would make a great wall hanging, table centerpiece, primitive pillow top or chair pad. The wools used are mostly hand dyed and very primitive. The flower pot is soft concrete gray and the mixed posies are done in a great selection of colors. The background is hooked with mixed primitive darks and the border is done the old fashioned hit and miss way in a great selection of mostly hand dyed wools.
