Offered for offer is a classic pair of Lakota Sioux Beaded Buffalo Hide Ceremonial Moccasins c. 1880s. Finely beaded with sinew in greasy yellow, red white-heart, cobalt, pony trader and light blues, green, and white. Angular devices dissect buffalo tracks on vamp with geometric designs encircling perimeter. Unusual trifurcated tongues with cloth at ankles. Multicolored tipi designs on soles surround a blue field filled with bar designs. A band of cobalt blue encircles the soles with short three-piece trail fringe. Excellent condition with soft brain-tanned leather, and measure 10\". Both a rare and fine offering and at a low offer!
