This week we have this very interersting collection fo 19th century Barbed wire from texas. Eleven samples mounted on a wood plaque in the shape of the state of Texas. I know that the third row down (second over) is a rare Hodge's "Spur Rowel," patented in 1887 by Chester A. Hodge, Beloit, Wis. THe plaque measures 8" x 8 1/2". All of the examples are antique and are all from the state of Texas. A very cool collectors piece.
