Beautiful old vintage western pleasure or show saddle, in very nice shape, and with detailed carving throughout.
The seat measures 14 1/2 inches, and the gullet is FQHB, 7\".
The horn and tree are tight, the stirrup leathers are wide, adjust by means of a 2 pronged buckle, and show very little if any surface cracking or excess wear. The saddle is used, and does show some signs of use. The seat has a little variation in color, and there are a few dings and scratches from use in various places, but minor.
All of the leather is in very nice condition. The carving shows very little wear, and is unusual, beautiful, and still distinct. The saddle is double rigged, and the rigging is in very good condition. The cantle has a light Cheyenne roll,and is in nice condition.
The fleece is in good condition. The stirrups are both darker in color and look to be a later addition. They are leather covered, and in very good shape. The stirrup leathers are good, seem free of any but the slightest of surface crazing. The saddle has a smaller seat, suitable for a youth or smaller rider, but the stirrup leathers extend down well for the tall, slimmer rider.
