DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for an antique Schoenhut \"walker\" toddler doll, 1911 to 1926. Doll measures 14\" tall being all wooden jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs. Retains the Original oval label on upper back that says \"Schoenhut Doll Pat Jan 17, 1911, USA\". There is another label on the back of the neck. There are \"no\" holes on the bottom of the feet. A sweet little face with painted blue eyes, worn brows and closed pouty mouth. It looks like restoration may have been started on the face with sanding and not finished. I do not know the past restoration history. There is a charming dark blonde human hair wig over the head, it needs some glue or a nail, it is loosely attached. Clothing is charming doll wears Beaver Dam Overalls, under shirt, plaid shirt, red \"Dolly Tog\" jacket, there is a scarf and roller skates. Skates are worn with a little tape repair at the back. There is an \"All Wood Perfection Art Doll Button\" on the clothing. Schoenhut dolls were some of the best antique wooden dolls ever made. Enjoy this fellow as he is or go for further restorations!
