16\" antique Schoenhut, fully jointed wood doll, incised signature, 300 series:

This very appealing wooden Schoenhut, character girl, stands 16 inches tall with the early incised, Schoenhut 1911 signature across her back shoulders. She has such a sweet and demure look about her with blue stippled eyes and fabulous modeling around her eyes including molded eyelids, sweet lips and gorgeous coloring. She has her original blond wig. I believe she has the original outfit and shoes. She has spring joints at her shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and has not had any repairs or repainting although she has some slight wear. She is in great condition for age, no repairs or painting have been made. This is from a smoke free home and doll has been in a box for many years, so very little to if any fading. Great doll overall.
