Rare, early documents pertaining to the estate of William Merrill of Hunterdon Co., Province of New Jersey:

- Will dated Feb. 3, 1724, 1p vellum, 11.5\" x 8.5\", True Copy signed bottom by Saml Bustill, Secy. \"I will and bequeath unto...my beloved wife Grace, all my movable estate, as two Negroes men slaves, and forty head of Great cattle...hoggs...\"

- Part-printed Letters of Administration granted to Grace Merrill, signed by Jas Smith, Secy at Burlington County, June 17, 1724. 12\" x 8\", affixed at bottom to the Will.

Condition: Soiling, wear; a few tears with small amount of loss top fold of Will, some ink light but majority readable, GD+. Letters w/ soiling, else VG.
