This is in good shape, I don\'t know how well it works if at all. The keys seem to move up and down but I don\'t know if they need work. I bought this at the same place as my trumpet and it looks quite old. It comes with a case that has green \"fur\" inside. It could use cleaning. It is engraved similar to the trumpet, \"Gage model, made in the U.S.A.\" It measures about 26\" long and weighs about 15 ounces. I do not know the year, the title is purely a guess, I would think due to the lettering, perhaps early 1900s but I don\'t know. It is made out of metal not sure what kind, the long wire/rod like pieces are magnetic, but the body/keys etc are not an er said this is a student model flute by Bettoney from 1930s-1950s.
