18th Century, John Robinson, Watertown, Massachusetts, cast into debtors prison:

This is a wonderful, original document, no apparent date, where John Robinson of Waterown, Massachusetts is pleading with the magistrate to let him out of debtors prison, as he is old and sick and of no worth to anyone if he is to stay in prison...signed John Robinson. Document is 6x8, museum quality backing, in overall fine shape. There were several John Robinson\'s in Watertown, dating to 1638. I have not been able to trace which Robinson this may be.
