This is a 1913 "sword" bayonet, intended to fit the P17 Enfield (aka British P13/P14) rifles as well as trench shotguns. A great piece of history from the worlds greatest war, the war to end all wars. They weremade by Winchester, Remington, and Remington-Eddystone and used in WWI and WWII. This particular bayonetis a circle Remington.

The overall lengthof thonet is22". Thehilt length is 4-3/4", blade length is 17" longby 15/16" wide by 1/4" thick (at ricasso). Blade appears to have factory edge; fullered groove is 12-1/2" in length. There are several stampings/markings on the blade (see pictures). Please note the locking mech is missing.
