For sale is a 100 year old 6\" Silver plated spoon from the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition (P.P.I.E.) held in San Francisco. It was held in what is now the Marina District with the lone remaining building being the Palace of Fine Arts. We are celebrating the 100th Centennial Anniversary this year of this Fair which celebrated that San Francisco had recovered from the 1906 Earthquake.
The craftsmanship of this spoon is from another era. You don\'t see the detail and workmanship that went into these spoons, nowadays. The spoon is in good shape, the bottom of the bowl shows wear of the plating. The spoon has been polished. On the front is the California Building in the bowl, and the words \"California\" and \"Eureka\". There are other California symbols on the handle like a Redwood Tree and the \"State Capitol\" On the back is \"Cliff House\", \"Carmel Mission 1799\" and \"Sutters Mill\" with corresponding images. It is labeled \"A1 Plate\". Please look at my pictures and ask questions. This is an antique spoon featuring SF History.
