B&J purchased the SS Stewart name in 1915and used it on many of theirbest stringed have only seen a couple of these Stewart Ukulelesand this one is Awesome.This beauty is a true find,, It sounds awesome,,
The action is very smooth..The original finish is very nice..
The friction pegs are a golden colored celluloid..
As you face the instrument, there is a ding on the right lower sidewallshown in picture #12.. This ding caused 1\" crack line..
There is also a crack on the back,it goes up from bottom center about 2.5\",,This is shown in picture #11 ..
The case is good shape,, missing handleand closing strap is not original to case.All in all,,This is a very impressive OldSS Stewart Uke... .
