San Francisco Examiner (SFX) Photo Lots

Each week we will have several photos lots for sale low openingoffers and s. The photos are from the San Francisco Examiner Archives.
They are primarily vintage original press or wire photos (often an entire file) with paper captions on the verso. Sometimes the file has later issued photos. The sizes vary from 6 x 8\" to 8.5 x 11.5 (usuallyfront caption). They average 8 x 10\".
Often, they have cropping marks and blocking on the photos. Some marks canbe easily wiped off and some are difficult to remove. The marks result from using the photos in the printing process of the newspaper.
