This listing is for a glass and metal,antique - vintagestore display top from the J.S. Ivins' Son Company which was located at 619-6123 North Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA. The building has been demolished but I was able to find an old photograph online which I am includingas one of the photos in this listing (photo is not for sale, I am showing you it here for reference).

This listing is for the glass and metal top whichmeasures about 10 3/8" almost 10 1/2" by the same 10 3/8" almost 10 1/2" by 1 3/4" high. Glass surrounded by a metal frame.

The patent date of April 15, 1924 is on the side, as well as maker's name Tindeco.

Condition is as shown in the photos with this listing. It hasage and use wear, including metal is discolored with scratches, rust marks, discolorationand scuff, soiling.Glass is not broken. It is being sold "as is" as was found so please be sure you are ok with all before buying. Needs some TLC but then you will have an original store display lid with 1924 for your collection or décor.

Use your imagination to come up with a unique use for this top, such as....make a newbox for this lid.... or turn it into a frame for your favorite photo since glass is clear.... hang it on the wall like picture...whatever you'd like....
