I bought this unused radio 30 years ago from a collector ofpristine unused antique radios. He was the second owner and the radio comes with theoriginal owners manual and unfilled out warranty tag. It is suitable for a serious collector or museum.
This radio, aRadiola III regenerative receiver with two WD-11 tubes (with open filaments for displaypurposes) isin perfect condition as it has never been used. It is 90 years old. It was manufactured by RCA in 1924.As you can see in the photographs, the radio is in a new condition throughout, with no evidence of wear and no evidence of abuse. As can be seen the battery wires have not been twisted or connected to a battery. The chassis is clean, and original wiring throughout. There is some rust on a mounting bracket inside thecabinet. The wiring harness is still full-length, and the metal battery tags are in place.
