The Hungarian 5 Pengo is a beautiful example of 20th Century European silver coinage that anyone would be pleased to have in a type set. This is a pattern coin design showing St. Ladislaus on horseback on the obverse. The reverse exhibitstwo angels holding the Hungarian crown and is the Design adopted for the 2 pengo series during the Regency period.This rare two coin set includes the 5 pengo struck in Klippe.This coin set is from an old-time collection of fine world coins and medals available in our stores in California andonline. This particular coin set was purchased from ARTEX - the Hungarian foreign trading company- in Budapest in the 1960s. This is part of a series of limited restrikes numbering fewer than 1000 pieces.
