Believe this was the original sales display folder for Mickey Mouse Handkerchiefs. Very early Mickey on the cover and they were made \"with consent of Walter E. Disney & by arrangement with Ideal Films Ltd\". On the back is the stamp \"Cotton Made in Ireland\".I\'m guessing the handkerchiefs were folded between the pages and a clerk would show you the different designs.
Disney released the film \"Steamboat Willie\" in 1928. And in a listing of top selling Christmas Gifts I found on Esquire.com Mickey Mouse Handkerchiefs were a top seller in 1930. I have included a copy of the Esquire listing, but DO NOT have one of the Handkerchiefs. Otherwise the piece is not dated.
Some industrious person has turned the folder into a scrapbook of party game clippings that are tapped on to the pages. Wax paper inserts between the pages. A name is written inside the front cover.
The piece measures apprx 10.5\" across x 10\" tall. Condition is as seen in the pictures. The front graphic is missing a piece in the upper right corner and the end is taped onto the folder.
