1934 Vintage Deco World’s Fair Bank Chicago Century of Progress American CanCo:

Offered is a 1934 vintage souvenir Art Deco still bank from the Chicago Century of Progress World’s Fair. This was made by the American Can Company – CanCo.
The Bank is 3 ½ inches tall and 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The top of the bank has a coin slot and reads: “Made By The / American / Can Company // at A Century of / Progress, / Chicago, 1934.” The base of the bank has a press fit seal that is embossed “CANCO.” The can is decorated in full color in an art deco style and depicts skyscrapers, a sky tram, what are apparently different venues from the World’s Fair and including a blimp.
The bank is in very good condition. There is no rust and there are no dents or scratches. There are a few small scrapes, and there is some discoloration to the unpainted surfaces. Please refer to photos to judge condition for yourself.
