1940\'s original DR PEPPER store advertising smallmetaldisplay sign 8 1/4 x 4 inches.....These were utilized by early countrystores, drug stores, general stores, gas stations, etc...i.e. just about every type store that sold Dr Pepper.They were given away provided by the Dr Pepper route salesmen. They featured and advertised Dr Pepper on them.They were pretty much assured that they would get displayed in a \"highly noticed\" promient instore customer trafficlocation assuring that customers wouldalso see them. They were designedfor store merchants to hang and displaythem on a wall next to a phone or on the inside front door, or behind the store counter or next to cash register orany conspicuous location where they would be readily noticed and utilized if needed for an emergency situation. They served a needed purpose in case of emergency to notify the store owner, also police,or fire dept. of anypurpose needing immediate attention. It is a small metal sign measures 8 1/4 x 4 inches and has a blank space on the bottom for recording notification info. the area is covered with a celluloid clear plastictype material. It is blank and has never been filled out. The back has a card stock material and also has another unseen blank space at the top of the back placementcard for re-using if bootom space needs revising or changing. Someof the earlystore owners replaced the blank form with the store or their personalbusiness card that they placed into the sign.....It is in good original condition has minor nicks on border edge. The graphics and colors are clear and bright. It features the \"Drink A Bite To Eat\"slogan with anice size Dr Pepper brickyard and 10-2-4logos on it....Additionally, it also displays the Dr Pepper bottle on it as well. It willmake a great display appeaarance and is just the right size to fit any display situation that you place it in. Guaranteed authentic old circa 1940\'s and original.
