1949 Caterpillar Cat D-2 4U series CRAWLER DOZER w/ hydraulic BLADE, 4664 hours, s/n 4U1543.very good condition...EXCEPT-pony motor does NOT work...engine starts right up when we pull start dozer with forklift...spockets, rollers, pins, rails, pads all have very minimal wear. Hydraulic blade works great with no leaks. Blade (angle with 3 positions-done manually) has minimal wear. This is a direct drive unit. Steering clutches work great as well as the brakes.
