This charming lad is Baby Coos or Baby Brother Coos by Ideal and he is all BOY!! From 1959 and the golden age of dolls. He is made of vinyl and measures 19\" tall. The back of his neck is marked IDEAL DOLL 3-19. There is a squeaker in his back and when his tummy is squeezed he lets out a coo. Nicely jointed with strung arms instead of the typical flange ones. He has an open/closed mouth, crystal blue sleep eyes and molded painted hair. Baby Coos is all original in his delightful little boy\'s ensemble consisting of a one piece romper with a red dot shirt and herringbone print flannel shorts, long sleeve red wool jersey sweater, matching herringbone print flannel hat, white socks and white vinyl shoes. His shoes are marked Ideal Toy Corp and have molded flowers on the toes.
He is in wonderful condition! Actually found old store stock. He was gently cleaned from head to toe. Beautiful facial painting with high color cheeks. Nicely painted hair with no rubs. All fingers and toes. There is something on the left eyelid. Might just clean off. From years of storage there is a light fade to his dotted shirt. There are about 7 bug bites on his wool jersey with the largest being the on the left front and back of the collar. There are 5-7 small holes in his socks as well which are mainly in the back or concealed by the shoes and cuffs. Like to keep things original whenever possible. You just don\'t find the boy version of this Baby Coos, or one so complete. He would make a grand addition to any modern doll, baby or Ideal doll collection! He is ready for immediate display and enjoyment!!
