Up for sale is a 1953 John Deere AO tractor. The biggest thing this tractor has going for it is it has a full orchard dress, most times this is already taken off and you are pretty much left with an AR. At a recent Polk sale a set of orchard tinwork brought $4000 just by itself sitting in a pile. As you can see the tinwork does have some dings in it but that is pretty typical for orchard tractors. The tractor starts up and runs decent but it could use some carb work as it smokes just a little bit and seems to use more gas than it should. The tires are in good shape with the front ones being nearly new. This tractor also has power trol with a single outlet which is very rare on an AR let alone an AO. Just this hydraulic until by itself will bring $1500 on an sale. This tractor also does have PTO which does work. The tractor drives nice and goes into all gears as it should. The one downfall of this tractor is it does seep a little oil around the governor case if it sits for a while but it would be a very easy fix. Going to part it out if it doesn\'t sell.
