this is a mid century SHAW WALKER INDUSTRIAL MODERN CHAIR MANUFACTURED ON DEC 11 1958. Its made of aluminum and what appears to be maple or a similar closed hard wood. It has some deep innocuous graffiti scratches on the arms which I really like and which I thing adds to the uniqueness of this period chair. none of the scratching is modern and its deeply patinated as is the wood on the rest of this chair. It has a kind of charm in past use that others I\'ve had don\'t. very cool piece!
