THERE IS NO SHIPPING on any of these motors- I do not have the time to box /crate motors and drive them the HOURS of round trip to the nearest ABF shipping dock- I am far out in the country not near any truck ship depots. We have tried UPS / Fedex with POOR results- lots of damage- and I don\'t have time to break these motors into two parcels and then pack them so that they do have a chance of arriving safely. The transaction is for PICK UP or delivery according to the terms below ONLY!! Cash ONLY for pickup.

TRAVEL / DELIVERY ROUTE:

Starting Thursday morning June 8, 2017 I will depart Western KY Zip Code 42211 and head EAST on I-24 through Nashville to Chattanooga and then SOUTH on Interstate 75 through all of Georgia, while taking I-285 skirting Macon and further South into Florida. My stopping point in Florida on I-75 will Exit 275. I will arrive at this point in the evening of June 8, 2017- all motors need to be picked up at this point or earlier. I will travel this entire route on June 8, 2017.

PLEASE ask all questions regarding logistics of delivery arrangements BEFORE offerding. If you are a zero or low response buyer EMAIL ME first before offerding or I may delete your offer- we have had 90% of our zero/low response offerding activity turn out to be frivolous in recent years. I may send you a quick email to confirm that you are along the delivery route, if you fail to respond to that email then that tells me that you are not up to communicating the way that we will have to in order to have a successful delivery transaction- I may pull your offer if you do not respond.

This is all very simple- all we need to do the transaction is a gas station or fast food place right off the highway where we can meet and exchange cash for motor(s). Motors being delivered or picked up are to be paid CASH in person. No paypal.

MOTOR DESCRIPTION:

This sale is for the pictured 1967 Johnson brand 33 horsepower LONG shaft electric starting (and electric choke) outboard motor- this motor was just recently purchased out of long term storage from a boat dealer who had it high up on a pallet rack in his warehouse. This motor is a Model RXEL-15S with a serial number of J2736800. The previous owner stated that the motor ran and ran very well the last time he used it about ten years ago. The motor still pulls over with very strong and even compression and shifts through the gears just fine. As you can see, the cowling has been repainted (red) while avoiding the original decals. I believe the rest of the gray colored lower unit housings and other castings are the original factory color. As you can see by looking at the engine block of this engine- this is a lower hour and 100% fresh water usage engine. Given that the motor has been sitting ten years since last run, checking over the lower unit lube, water pump impeller, fuel lines and you may want to install a new plastic float in the carburetor to avoid new low quality and ethanol infused gasoline from stripping the float coating. This motor is a strong healthy motor that is just awaiting a little bit of attention that may be needed to bring it back into 100% reliable service. !!!

TRANSACTION TERMS: Motors are to be paid CASH upon pick up in western Kentucky zip code 42211. I do NOT ship motors. Period. I am a one man show and truck shipping depot docks are MANY HOURS away from me. Pickup needs to happen within 7 days of sale end unless other arrangements are made ahead of time.
