THERE IS NO SHIPPING on any of these motors- I do not have the time to box /crate motors and drive them the HOURS of round trip to the nearest ABF shipping dock- I am far out in the country not near any truck ship depots. We have tried UPS / Fedex with POOR results- lots of damage- and I don\'t have time to break these motors into two parcels and then pack them so that they do have a chance of arriving safely. The transaction is for PICK UP or delivery according to the terms below ONLY!! Cash ONLY for pickup.

TRAVEL / DELIVERY ROUTE:

Starting Thursday morning June 8, 2017 I will depart Western KY Zip Code 42211 and head EAST on I-24 through Nashville to Chattanooga and then SOUTH on Interstate 75 through all of Georgia, while taking I-285 skirting Macon and further South into Florida. My stopping point in Florida on I-75 will Exit 275. I will arrive at this point in the evening of June 8, 2017- all motors need to be picked up at this point or earlier. I will travel this entire route on June 8, 2017.

PLEASE ask all questions regarding logistics of delivery arrangements BEFORE offerding. If you are a zero or low response buyer EMAIL ME first before offerding or I may delete your offer- we have had 90% of our zero/low response offerding activity turn out to be frivolous in recent years. I may send you a quick email to confirm that you are along the delivery route, if you fail to respond to that email then that tells me that you are not up to communicating the way that we will have to in order to have a successful delivery transaction- I may pull your offer if you do not respond.

This is all very simple- all we need to do the transaction is a gas station or fast food place right off the highway where we can meet and exchange cash for motor(s). Motors being delivered or picked up are to be paid CASH in person. No paypal.

MOTOR DESCRIPTION:

Your offer in this sale is for the 1968-72 \"red band\" era Mecuray brand 75 7.5 horsepower outboard motor- this is a twin cylinder alternate firing short shaft full shift outboard motor!!! This motor is being offered for repair / restoration- it has been painted camo but some or most of that may wipe off carefully- and the motor is not currently throwing spark. However, the motor does pull over with outstanding and even compression of 135 pounds on the top cylinder and 130 on the bottom cylinder- this motor has definitely got A LOT more life left in it!! The motor does shift through the gears forward-neutral-reserse and pulls over with strong and even compression!! I\'m not sure why the motor is not throwing spark- I spark checked it on a sunny day on both cylinders- the tester can sometimes be hard to see, but I did nto see any spark. Other than that, this is not a bad looking engine and surely is well worth tinkering back into good running order once again. Someone has unbolted the carburetor and it is sitting loose in the lower pan. Even if not brought back to good running order (and I don\'t see why you wouldn\'t with compression this high and even), the parts value of this motor is multiples of what I am asking for an opening offer- parts support for this period of Mercury outboards stopped a long time ago!!! !!!

TRANSACTION TERMS: Motors are to be paid CASH upon pick up in western Kentucky zip code 42211. I do NOT ship motors. Period. I am a one man show and truck shipping depot docks are MANY HOURS away from me. Pickup needs to happen within 7 days of sale end unless other arrangements are made ahead of time.
