They made around 33,000 of these 1 1/4 ton trucks in 1967, 68 and 69, all for the Military.
I believe the company was still \"Kaiser, Jeep, Willys\" when these were made.

Dana 60 fronts, Dana 70 rears.Transmission, Transfer case and both differentials have been flushed and refilled (Absolutely no metal or gunk of any kind when drained/flushed.This was a Forest Service Brush/Fire truck and they usually take excellent care of their equipment.
Tires are in real good condition. Includes spare tire but I don\'t know if it is good or holds air.
this truck is almost rust free and in excellent condition. 12/24 volt system.

The only Rust I know of is the passenger side rocker panel, and a spot on the hood where the paint has chipped off.
New Batteries. The battery box has been removed and a bench seat installed in it\'s place for increased occupancy. The driver\'s seat is still a bucket seat. The back of the driver\'s seat will need upholstered/repaired.

the lights are the original 24 volt, so two 12 volt batteries are connected to power these. I have not done anything to the wiring, even though it\'s a little confusing to look at everything works.the light on the roll bar is not hooked up and I don\'t know if it works.
This truck has been converted to a small block V-8. I was told Chevy, but have not verified the numbers. Install was done with a GM adapter (billet aluminum Novak adapter) )to the original transmission.

Has a POWER BRAKE BOOSTER. I have a Saginaw steering box and Power steering pump (used) that I will include with vehicle..... you will need to mount it. There are several websites that show how this is done, I think there is even something on you tube.

The truck runs GREAT.

Has a professionally built roll bar and bed rack with a ladder attached to the bed on passenger side rear.

This is a soft top truck, but NO canvas is included, there is a home made, riveted top in the bed that I took off. (I prefer the soft top.)

This is the 5th of these I\'ve had and one of the cleanest.

Clear TX title, registered but not inspected, ready to drive home. (haven\'t had time for the inspection but everything works.....may need a new horn button as it sometimes chatters)
