Here\'s a very interesting item for you. This is a large, red plastic, VW Beetle which has a music box in the bottom and the roof lifts off to reveal a slot for a decanter and four shot glasses. Unfortunately, the decanter and glasses are missing, but the rest of the bug is in excellent condition, as you can see in the photos. The Bug is molded in hard, red plastic with chrome trim. The Bug measures approximately 15\" long so it is quite large and looks great on a shelf. I would imagine that you could find a replacement decanter and glasses fairly easy. (if I find any prior to the time this sells I will relist it with these included.)
There are no makers marks on the car but the license plate is number 606. I\'ve read that these were made in 1973 in Hong Kong. The music box works fine and it plays \"Raindrops Are Falling on My Head\" when you open the top.
Certainly a very interesting and unique addition to any collection. A great item for any VW collector or owner.
