Description

NOW THIS IS COOL!

Here is a rare original 1970s Ross \"PUMA\" banana seat muscle bike with 20\" wheels. (The Serial Number is R6837774. I was told this one was new around 1969-1970. See pics and be your own judge) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This is a rare bike in a cool color! This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!

*The bike is in the original and very appealing factory purple/magenta painted color. Check out the cool \"5-bar\" muscle bike frame! The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching hand grips, cool high loop rear sissy bar, Schwinn? pedals, CK head badge, (sold new at Coast to Coast hardware) and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! You can still somewhat read the chainguard lettering unlike most of them. The bike is a 3-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. (the bike has been in long term storage and will need a shift cable, adjustment tuning etc) I dig the purple seat! It has the chrome raised center rims front and rear. I love the 3-speed rear! Both front and rear tires hold air. It has a 20x2.125 wide rear tire and a 20x1.75 front tire! HOW COOL! This one was made in NEW YORK, USA! This frame is the same design as the famous ROSS BARRACUDA! (you see those once in a great while but I have never seen another one of these!)

*This bike is from the best era of when bikes had car themes! This one has that 1970-74 Cuda vibe! They made Stingray, Duster, Charger, Mustang, Aero-Bee, Corvette, etc bikes. You will see a whole lot of Krate bikes before you ever find another of these! (and yes, the Krate bikes are rare!) I hope you enjoy this one! Its a COOL project!

*This would be cool in your bike collection or would be a neat display next to your 1970-74 Plymouth Barracuda, AAR, Gran Coupe, Hemicuda, etc! This is the VERY FIRST bike like this I have seen! I hope you can appreciate this one for what it is! It is a RARE UNIQUE BIKE! The Ross Barracuda bike was recently featured in MCG! (Mopar Collectors Guide) and those bikes was on display in November Muscle Car and Corvette Show in CHICAGO last year!

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS The bike would need a total restoration from top to bottom for show or enjoy it in its current unrestored patina. The paint looks ok for a 45+ year old boys bike! (Has chips scratches etc) I love the fact that it is original paint! (see pics) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. (wheel chrome isnt great) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY so offer early and don\'t miss out! This will sell to the high buyer! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.

*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.

*PLEASE NOTE, I WILL NO LONGER BE SHIPPING FULL SIZE BIKES OUTSIDE OF THE USA. This is due to the high cost of shipping and customs. If you are anywhere outside the lower 48 States including Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico contact me before you offer as shipping will cost more. Fed Ex just increased the rates. I can ship to AK, HI, or PR for approx $99.95. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing. This i the best deal I can get to ship to these locations. Please do not offer if this is unacceptable. I always try to keep things as reasonable as I can. If you have a friend or family member in the lower 48 states, I can ship to them for the amount stated in the listing. THANK YOU!

*THIS WEEK I AM LISTING NUMEROUS COOL VINTAGE ITEMS! They are all available right now! Check them out! Combine items to save yourself $$$ on shipping!I try my very best to describe as accurately as possible. Be sure to check out all pics and email with any questions you may have before you offer.
