1976 John Deere 4630 serial number 024816R, this tractor belongs to my neighbor he has had it for many years, tach. reads 2757 hours and quit working about 8 years ago, he only has about 100 acres and was used for tillage and planting, tractor runs good it is running in the photos no smoke and plenty of power, it is rated at 160 HP, has a a 8 speed power shift transmission that works good, rear rims are good has 20.8/38 rear tires at 30% tread and good condition, duals go along with the tractor, all the glass and doors in cab are good, the lights do work, power steering works good, has a blower for heat but not sure if air works, original metal good, paint faded, has factory dual hydraulics, good working PTO and a three point hitch with the original top link, park still works, has differential lock, I just put in two brand new batteries, sometimes you have to tap the solenoid to get it to turn over once running you can shut it off and it will fire right back up, not all the time but on occasion you have to do it, he said it has been like that the last few years, could be a poor connection or just replace it, he asked me to sell it as he no longer farms and is retiring, lots of horsepower, put it to work.
