Up for sale is a clean great running 1984 AM General 5 ton M934 dump truck with a hard top . It is showing 23000 miles But I would say more like 1000 milessincethe 2011 rebuild very clean truck , plenty of life left in it. We have installed a new Rowe 16 foot dump bed with all new pto, 5 stage dump cylinder, Pto shift tower, Air tailgate that can be operated inside the cab. The bed it self is 16 feet long with 44\" sides with slots to install side boards on top. It is about a 15 yard bed. It has 48,000 lbs rears axles spring and 20,000 front axle springs, with a double frame, very stout truck. Pay load of 15-20 tons. It has the NHC 250, 250 hp 6 cylinder Cummins in it which runs great. Behind that is an Allison 5 speed automatic backed by an air shift 2 speed transfer case. All functions like heat and lights operate fine. The paint is a new White with Gray bed , interior is in good shape, the 1100r20 Goodyear GL177 tires are 95%+. The 6 wheel drive works also. I have used these dump trucks in the past and they are very handy and strong. This was an ex Shop van that we converted to dump, it has the heavy double frame making it perfect for a dump truck. This is a better setup than the stock military ones that are only 10\' long. The 5 stage hoist goes up high to make a nice steep dump angle so the cargo comes out. 6 wheel drive makes these a perfect truck for that soft or muddy job. We stock PTOs for these truck and can offer full wet kits for any of the M900 series trucks The bed has 3/16\" steel sides and floor with cross members every 16\" It does have full air brakes on it You are more than welcome to come inspect the truck Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm 812-336-2894 and on the weekend by appointment only.
