This is an Ex-military truck that I have been using as my pickup truck. I have hauled loads of tile, full truckloads of lumber, and have used it as my camping vehicle.Here are the features.Caterpilar 3116 Non electronic 6.6 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine.
Allison 3000 series 7 speed automatic transmission
Rockwell/Meritor Axles

Hydraulic Spare tire carrier which raises and lowers the spare
Fully Functioning CTIS Central Tire Inflation System
Military issue central Winch that can pull from the front or rear of the truck.
Tires are full tread and are 46\" tall
The Engine sounds great and is strong has great oil pressure. I\'ve pulled my trailer with a skid steer with ease.The Transmission was serviced at Allison last year which included removing the control module and replacing the interior wiring harness. ($2400)The brakes are strong, the steering is tight, all the lights and gauges work. the 4x4 will climb up a mountain.Parts for the engine, transmission, and drive line are all commercially available on the civilian market. The only parts I\'ve had trouble finding are body and interior parts.
Top Speed is 60MPH - though there have been numerous FMTV owners that have re-geared the axles to lower the gear ratio. The Ring and Pinions can be bought from Rockwell/Meritor for $1000 per axle. This would yield a top speed closer to 73 MPH.I do have the seats to turn it in to a 4 man cab - e-mail me if you wish to discuss.It has 19,600 Miles on it.At 19,200 miles I changed all the fluids and filters in the Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, front axle, rear axle, and all 4 hubs. I also had the hydraulic pump for accessory hydraulics rebuilt at that time. The cost for all the fluids was $600+ just in oils.I\'ve got a lot of time and money in repairs after buying it from the military to make it roadworthy. It has been on the road and used consistentlyIt hasn\'t been used much in the last 12 months as I\'ve been working a bit on my m998 Humvee. I don\'t want to see it just sitting.All work has been done by a mechanic who is a military veteran and had experience working on FMTV\'s when in the army.I have the tailgate for it, It needs a little bit of straightening. I do also have the large expanding arms that go in to the frame for transporting.The only annoying thing that I haven\'t gotten around to fixing is the window track for the driver side window.Will only sell to a United States Citizen - This can not be exported.
