The doll is part of a collection of Adora, Lee Middleton and Madame Alexander dolls that I purchased from an estate. The collector passed away. The collection was stored away. I do not detect any storage smell. Everybodysmellingsense is different.The children decided to sell the collection. Many nice dolls, some rare. The Collector must have been a Irish Lady. Many of the Madame Alexander dolls are Irish Dolls.
The tags are marked Studio Artist - Lee Middleton - Numbered Collectors Edition - Reva Schick - Italian Girl 1900 - The doll is appr. 22\" tall - She is marked on her head : LMODI 1997 by Reva 573/1800 - her purple dress is damaged. Please see pictures. There is a very small hole on her tights and a small red stain on one shoe. Please see pictures. Except for the small defects I mentioned, the doll is in great condition. The doll is sold as found, as is and has not been cleaned or tampered with.
