These rare saddle bagsthat show there age, display great, and are a rare example of awestern/military doctors way to travel by horse to treat the sick and injured.
Still has leather strapwith buckle to attach to saddle.
2 tins under each flap(2nd tin hard to open)
Flaps have maker marked– cant make out Maker name because has crazing throughout leather, flaps curlsat end. One clasp missing, other clasp half brass end missing that locks flaps.
Also not very noticeablethere is two nearly one inch tears on side of one flap.
