A very fine antique, circa 1890\'s, signed Yale, gone with the wind parlor oil lamp nicely converted to electric. The base is matte black enameled metal with copper feet and handles having grotesque dolphins. The base is copper crowned, the font and burner of brass. The brass shade ring has two clamps to secure the panel shade. The brass framed tulip form shade has six purple and green slag glass panels. Includes the chimney. It is in working order, new cord and plug, switch on cord. The lamp with shade measures 16-1/2\" tall by 10-1/2\" wide at handles, the shade alone 7-3/4\" tall by 9-3/4\" diameter. Very Good condition: lamp base without dents or breaks, original unworn finishes. The shade is securely framed brass, all glass without chips, one glass panel is cracked in half horizontally (see photo with red arrows).
