This 5 ton with ROPS (Roll Over Protection System)is the best 5 ton model the military built. There were only 400 of these trucks made for the military to evaluate. The changes made to these trucks are extensive, a roll cage was integrated into the new reinforcedcab and air ride seats were added.It has a better dash layout andremovable roof panel for a gunner position. These trucks areless noisy and more comfortableto drive than any other 5 tons. It has gone through an overhaul in 2011 when the newcab system was installed and it\'s in excellent running condition. This isthe most maneuverable of the 5 ton series and has shortest wheelbase.A nice custom option is to remove the fifth wheel plate and install a 10 footcargo bedto make a short cargo truck and 53 inch tires can be added for a tougher stance (see picture for example).
